Live counters of finance flowing against nature and for it, at the annual average rates published by UNEP. The figures, their sources, the method and the embed code are on this page.
The embed
This is the Ticker as it appears on another site. It takes the width it is given, sets its own height, and runs on a light or a dark background.

How the counters run
The counters spread each annual figure evenly across the year: US$7.3tn over 31,536,000 seconds is US$231,481 a second against nature, and US$220bn is US$6,976 a second for it. "This year so far" counts from 1 January at 00:00 UTC; "since you opened this page" counts from the moment the page loaded. Actual flows are uneven through the year; the rate shown is the annual average. The clock is the reader's device, read in UTC. Countdowns are in calendar days, UTC.
